Refund policy

Returns
You may request to return your order within 14 days of delivery. If more than 14 days have passed, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition in which they were received.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging.

To initiate a return, contact us at returns@explicitpoets.com. Our team will provide instructions on how to return your item and request your refund.


Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is damaged or defective upon arrival.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

After your return request is approved, you must provide a valid tracking number within 14 days. If a tracking number is not provided within this period, the return request may be rejected and no refund will be issued.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned items are shipped correctly and successfully delivered to our return address. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please allow a few business days for the refund to appear.

Refunds are processed only after the returned item has been successfully delivered and inspected.


Sale Items & Promotional Offers
Items purchased during a sale or promotion, including offers such as Buy One Get One Free, must be returned in full to be eligible for a refund. Partial returns of promotional bundles are not accepted.


Exchanges
We replace items free of charge if they are defective or damaged upon delivery. To request an exchange, contact us at returns@explicitpoets.com.


Free Shipping Threshold Adjustments
Free shipping offers apply to the final order value after returns. If returning part of your order reduces the total below the free shipping threshold, we reserve the right to deduct the original shipping cost from your refund.


Uncollected Packages
If your package is not collected and is returned to us by the carrier, it will be treated as a withdrawn purchase under EU consumer law. A refund will be issued once the item has been returned, with the following deductions:

  • Original shipping cost, even if the order qualified for free shipping
  • Return shipping fees charged by the carrier

These deductions cover real shipping expenses incurred due to the uncollected delivery.


International Orders & Customs (Non-EU)

Customers are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, customs fees, return shipping costs, or postal processing charges associated with their order or return shipment.

For international returns, customers must declare returned packages as:
“Returned goods – customer return – no commercial value”

Customers should avoid declaring returned items as commercial sales and should declare a low customs value appropriate for a returned item.

Please note that international return shipments may still incur customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees, or postal processing charges upon arrival in Greece, even when declared as returned goods.

Any customs duties, taxes, or processing fees incurred during the return process may be deducted from the refund amount or may result in the return being refused.

If a package is refused, abandoned, destroyed at customs, or otherwise not successfully returned to our warehouse, no refund will be issued.

We recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering internationally.


United States Orders
For orders shipped to the United States, shipments are sent using DDP (Delivery Duties Paid). This means import duties are prepaid to U.S. customs authorities on the customer’s behalf. As these duties are paid to third-party government authorities, the duties amount collected at checkout is non-refundable in the event of a return.


Restocking Fee
A €5 restocking fee per item may be applied if your return includes three (3) or more items. This helps cover handling and inspection costs. All returned items must be unused and returned in their original packaging.
